The brief
A precinct story for a broad public audience.
Chapel Street carries many identities at once: local shopping strip, hospitality destination, cultural precinct, and everyday neighbourhood. The film needed to bring those layers together without losing clarity or the credibility expected of council communication.
The result needed to work as a complete story while still creating useful moments for shorter social and large-format campaign assets.
Creative direction
Warm, tactile, and unmistakably public-facing.
A cohesive claymation world gave the precinct a friendly visual identity while the narrative kept the information easy to follow. The finished campaign balanced character and polish, helping a council story feel more human without becoming frivolous.
The outcome
A clear story with a positive community response.
- Positive response from the community on social media
- A distinctive visual identity for a layered precinct story
- A long-form film supported by shorter and large-format assets
- Clear, approachable communication for a broad public audience
